Hudson, a three year-old from Safety Harbor, FL loves the outdoors and animals so much that he wished to go to Yellowstone National Park. This summer that wish came true.
Hudson flew with his brother, Grayson and parents to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where they stayed at Heart Six Ranch. At the Ranch they did almost everything a little cowboy could dream of. They rode horses through Bridger-Teton National Forest and Teton Wilderness Areas, where they were able to take in all of the wildlife and wilderness views. Hudson’s horse for the week was named Buckwheat. Hudson took true ownership of Buckwheat, including grooming him and giving him treats! In true Dude Ranch fashion, he also went to the Jackson Hole Rodeo, where he sat in the front row and was named “honored guest.” He even got to participate in some of the rodeo events and show off his lassoing skills. His other activities also included paintballing, sleeping out in a teepee, making a video with the ranch hand, Seth and of course visiting the beautiful Yellowstone National Park. Hudson’s love for the outdoors and wildlife stimulated the trip of a lifetime and one his family will always remember. “I am so grateful for this week and for our time together to just enjoy being a family,” said Hudson’s mom, Amber. “We needed and loved every minute of it.”
